Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Hermitage Technologies, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Hermitage,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Hermitage software platform (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, firm, professional role, and authentication records.
Client matter data: the information you enter about your clients and their matters (people, assets, income, estate plans, scenarios, and related notes).
Usage data: log, device, and activity data generated as you use the Service, used to operate, secure, and improve it.

Usage data may be used to improve the Service. Subscriber Data is used only as the data processing addendum allows.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate users, generate the planning estimates you request, secure the platform, communicate with you, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

Hermitage’s current service providers are listed on the Subprocessors page.

Hermitage’s public marketing pages use Google Analytics to measure visits. It does not run inside the Service and never receives client data.

4. No sale of data

We do not sell your personal information or your client matter data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for 90 days after your subscription ends. If you resubscribe within those 90 days, you resume with your data intact. We then delete your data, except copies in backups, which remain protected until they expire in the ordinary backup cycle.

6. Requests About Your Information

If a firm using Hermitage entered your information, send requests about it to that firm, and Hermitage will assist the firm in responding. Requests about your own Hermitage account can be sent to privacy@hermitage.estate.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
